Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of QuietGlance, including the iOS app, widgets, and related services. By creating an account or using QuietGlance, you agree to these Terms.

Who QuietGlance Is For

QuietGlance helps household members share a simple status, such as Home, Work, or Going Out, optionally using place-based updates you configure. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to consent to online services.

Accounts and Families

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, activity under your account, and accurate account information. Family spaces may include invited members. Owners are responsible for membership, invitations, and family settings.

Place-based automation depends on your settings and system permissions. QuietGlance is designed to share status, not a live map trail of your movements.

Acceptable Use

• Do not harass, stalk, or monitor anyone without a lawful basis and appropriate consent.
• Do not use QuietGlance for commercial surveillance.
• Do not break, scrape, overload, or reverse engineer the Service except where allowed by law.
• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
• Do not interfere with other users’ access to the Service.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Optional QuietGlance Plus subscriptions are billed by Apple through your Apple Account. Pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds follow Apple’s App Store terms and the information shown at purchase.

Deleting the app or your QuietGlance account does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription; manage it in your Apple Account settings.

Content and Intellectual Property

QuietGlance, including its name, branding, design, and software, is owned by us or our licensors. You retain rights to content you submit, such as a family name or profile photo, and grant us a license to host and display it as needed to operate the Service.

Disclaimers and Liability

QuietGlance is provided “as is.” Status and geofence updates depend on device power, network connectivity, location services, and Apple’s background execution rules. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, real-time, or error-free operation. QuietGlance is not an emergency, medical, or personal-safety service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.

Termination and Changes

You may stop using QuietGlance at any time and may delete your account where the product provides that option. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, providing in-app notice.
